Ai SUGIURA

プロジェクト「Window」から発展し、窓際から外を見つめる動物の置物の異質な存在に注目したプロジェクト。

窓の内側に置かれた置物は外を向き、部屋の内側とはカーテンで仕切られるなど、建物の内側にありながら外に意識が向けられている異質な存在である。そして瞳を持った動物の置物たちは遠く外の風景をただじっと見つめる。

その様子は窓をフレームとした一つの絵画的空間のようであり、一つの物語を作り出している。

Developed from the project "Window," this project focuses on the heterogeneous presence of an animal figurine staring out of a window.
The figurines placed inside the window face outward and are separated from the inside of the room by a curtain. The animal figurines that have eyes stare out at the landscape outside in the distance.
The scene is like a pictorial space with the window as a frame, creating a story.
