Because it is there.

私たちの生活している家の中には様々な要素が存在している。そして、それらに囲まれながら暮らしている。ここでは家にまつわる風景を断片的に切り取り、新しい形に落とし込んだ。私たちの記憶はものに依存している。そのものが持つ本来の形態を失ったとしても、私たちは視覚からそれらの機能と本来の姿を思い浮かべる。

There are various elements in the house where we live. And we are living surrounded by them. Here, the scenery related to the house was cut in pieces and dropped into a new shape. Our memories depend on objects. Even if these objects lose the original form of ourselves, we can imagine those functions and their original figures visually.
